Facilities
Ladywood Lesiure Centre has a wide range of facilities that can cater for a number of different sporting activities as well as some non sporting activities.
Main Hall
The Ladywood Leisure Centre main hall can be used for a variety of sports. The size of hall can accomodate upto 4 Badminton courts. At each end there are a set of collapsable Indoor Football Goals and a set of Basketball Nets which are attached to the wall. There are also a pair of Indoor Cricket Nets which can be extruded from the wall when neccessary. The hall is marked out for the following sports, Basketabll, Handball and Indoor Football. Obviously the hall can and is used for a wide variety of others activities such as Indoor Bowls, Dance Classes, Table Tennis, etc.
All Weather Pitch
The All Weather Pitch located beside Ladywood Leisure Centre is ideally suited for playing 7-a-side football in any weather conditions and at any time of the day. The pitch is fully flood lit and therefore can be hired upto 10pm all year round. The pitch may be rented whenever the centre is open, it is best however to contact us to book your allocated time.
Boxing Room
A more unusal aspect of the Ladywood Leisure Centre is the Boxing Excerise Room. The room which is attached to the main hall is equipped with a training ring, a number of speed, focus and heavy punch bags and a variety of weights. The amount of aparatus in the room allows for a number fighters to train at the same time.
Other Equipment
Ladywood Leisure Centre also has a variety of other equipment which can be used for a variety of different classes including Badminton, Boxercise, Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do, Trampolining etc.
